Ingredients
5 chopped carrots
3 chopped onions
2 cans (16 ounce) whole peeled tomatoes kept with liquid
1 large chopped head cabbage
1 onion soup mix (envelope dry) ' envelope dry ' 16 ounce
1 can (15 ounce) cut and drained green beans
Tomato juice ' 2 quarts
2 diced green bell peppers
10 stalks chopped celery
1 can (14 ounce) beef broth
Directions
Take a large pot and put the vegetables such as tomatoes, carrots, onions, green beans, cabbage, celery and peppers in it. Add tomato juice, onion soup mix, beef broth and a large quantity of water to cover all the vegetables. Simmer the mixture on low heat until the vegetables become supple and tender. It can be stored in the freezer for quite a lot of days. You can just heat it up when serving it.
You can try different spices to lend it a different taste you like. You can also add some garbanzo beans to make it taste a bit different. Play around with the quantities and types of ingredients.
